Football Manager 07: The Gills

I thought I would make a thread where all us "Gills Managers" could help each other out in FM 07. It seems, or to me anyway, the taking the Gills on is a hard thing to do, but there are ways to bring wins to the club and fire them up the league.
So, this is a thread on who to play, how to sign, what tactics to use, who to let go, etc etc. Its my hope then, that we can all get Gills flying in the fooball league - On FM at least!
Ok, my little tip is to get 'David Edgar' and 'Gavin Rothery' into the club on permenent deals. Both very young and have decent stats. They can be used here and there, for instance the LDV Vans trophy or 10 mins of the bench, or be starters and grow into the style you play. Both can be had for a total of around 60k. Edgar is normally free but Rothery will cost you anywhere between 35k onwards depending on his status when you start the game.
